This return policy applies only for books and DVDs purchased directly from Urban Connections.
Books
Books with missing pages and any defects in binding may be returned to us for replacement within one week of purchase, shipping cost at this time will be borne by the customer. Urban Connections will bear the shipping cost to resend replacement books to the customer.DVDs
- Within 30 days of receipt of your order, you may return your purchased item for a full refund, exclusive of shipping, provided they are in their original, unopened condition with all seals and shrink wrapping intact. Shipping costs to return the product will be borne by the customer.
- A defective DVD may be returned and replaced with the same item after our testing confirms the defect. All DVDs returned to us as defective will require testing to confirm the defect or fault, when no defects or faults are detected the DVD will be returned to the customer at their cost.
- Please contact us at books@urbanconnections.jp to discuss any problems you might have in playing your DVD. It has occurred in the past that a DVD will not play on a particular DVD player, but will work on others. We recommend that prior to contacting us or returning the DVD that you try an alternative player to establish the exact fault source. This problem is usually an indicator of a unit requiring servicing.
Faults in discs will only occur at the same point in a disc even when using different DVD players. If the fault experienced is random (even in different players) this is another indication that the player requires servicing.
- Refunds will be notified via email once the item is returned and verified as being in the original, unopened condition.
- The customer will be notified via email once a DVD is confirmed as being defective to advise you that a replacement DVD has been shipped at our cost.
