Conditions for Dispatch Work
(for Interpreters, Summarizers, etc.)

Conditions Applying to Business Trips
Jobs requiring work outside of the 23 wards of Tokyo are considered business trips and will have the following fees attached to them.

・Travel and Standby Fees
Should your conference be held in a location which takes a significant amount of time to travel to, the following travel and standby fees will be applied. Depending on the region, these fees may not be charged.

Domestic trips

  • Fee for travel days in which no work was performed: 1 work day x 1/2
  • Fee for standby days in which no work was performed: 1 work day x 1/2

Overseas trips

  • Fee for travel days in which no work was performed: 1 work day x 1/2
  • Fee for standby days in which no work was performed: 1 work day x 1/2

・Conditions Applying to Travel Expenses
Expenses related to transportation and accommodation, and other expenses incurred while carrying out work outside of the 23 wards of Tokyo, will be included in the final invoice for the job.

Transportation expenses

  • Airplane tickets, shinkansen tickets, train tickets, bus tickets, taxi fare, etc.

Accommodation expenses

  • Expenses for hotel rooms will be charged for both domestic and international jobs (including tax and service charges)
Should a hotel room be required, we will also charge a fee to cover daily allowances.

Other expenses

  • For business trips abroad, we charge for insurance expenses, visa application expenses, and for the time it takes to acquire visas.

Note

For business trips overseas, interpreters or summarizers must arrive at the location of the assignment one or two days prior to the start of work.

Cancellation fees

Same day or one day prior to the start of work: 100%
Two days prior: 80%
Three days prior: 50%
Four to five days prior: 25%

In principle, we calculate the number of days before the start of work in terms of business days, excluding Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (e.g. for a job starting on Monday, Friday would be considered the day before the start of work).
