Corporate Social Responsibility
Urban Connections, with its expertise in effective communication, has for two decades been a bridge between Japan and the rest of the world. When you need your message to reach an audience that speaks many languages, you can be sure that Urban Connections has the ability to translate with great accuracy and to guarantee readability. These abilities are, and have always been, at the heart of the services we offer.
But we are not born with such abilities.
Take Japanese-native translators who specialize in English, for example. Many of them learned English at publicly-financed educational establishments, then enhanced their language skills through day-to-day interactions with friends from overseas. Similarly, those non-Japanese-native translators who specialize in Japanese studied Japanese at universities in Japan or in their own countries and deepened their understanding of the Japanese language while living in Japan and interacting with people in their communities.
Without the support of society and local communities, how could we possibly have become language experts, as we are now?
At Urban Connections, we firmly believe that it is our corporate social responsibility to ensure that our language abilities are put to great use across global society.
